Site Completely Changed

Cheers to all,

the site elcinema.com has completely changed and thus the ini file isn't grabbing anything anymore.

Hoping someone has the time to update the file.

Thanks guys.

Hi Blackbear199,

I totally understand your vision here.

I think that using the specific channel page (1 channel only page) wouldn't be slow and it lists 3 days of schedule with all the data and no need to go to the subpages.

Even photos of shows (showicon), for the people who use media players, could be scrubbed either from the channel page in small size or, if the user wants, use a regex to change the part in "img src" link from "150x200" to "315x400" (which is found on the show details page) to get the large showicon.

You don't need to change the date as it will be handled with the showsplit. I did it once with a similar looking site and works fine.

This for example works good for me and did it the way I described above (http://www.filfan.com/channel/details/163) (just 11 lines ini file).

I'm not pretty good at this like you guys. Hope it is of help to others.

BTW, there is an "English" button on the top left, you don't need to use a translator.

Anyways, was just trying to be of some help for the community.

Thank you again for your care.

Cheers.

Dear blackbear199,

I tested it and it is working.

Some issues in the grabbed data though.

There are 2 or 3 titles for the shows even some have the title "Program" and 2 or 3 other titles (english+english+arabic). This makes the title of the show that any program reads become "Program" because it is the first one in the 4 titles!

The categories has the first category as "Genre".

I think it works but needs some fine tuning.

Thanks for your efforts mate :)

BTW, substituting "en" with "ar" in the url works fine too only with a small issue which is the "(?)" due to the difference between main and subpage titles of shows. Also it adds the type of the show to the title.
