use the bein.net ini on the epg channel page(its under international).
the existing channel list doesnt have it so either create a updated list(it near the bottom with usa channels) or here it is.

<channel update="i" site="bein.net" site_id="us_sports/xtra" xmltv_id="xtra">xtra</channel>

Hi Blackbear, thanks for the prompt response.

i just ran it, and I'm afraid that's not the right if.

This is a snippet from what was returned:

`
90 in 30
Soccer

Sevilla vs. Getafe
Fútbol LaLiga
Soccer

This Is Paris
Sports talk

The Ligue 1 Show
Sports talk
`

Please, note that's not matching what's being shown right now here:
https://beinsportsxtra.com/#epg

Maybe the id is different?

After updating the .ini I'm not seeing more files, but it's grabbing just five or six shows, even if I choose a larger timespan. Do you know what could be?

See attached the xml generated and the config file. Note there's just a handful of shows.

I tried to change the timezone to reflect where I am (West Coast) and could see this in the log:

time offset change detected for site bein.net from: +0000 to: -0800

and I used a proxy to see the requests and noted the offset parameter is not coming with -8 like when you are browsing in the website. I could see all 5 days being requested, but still just a handfull of shows being recorded in the xml :(

bein sports site isnt going to work, look through the epg data for the day and you will see multiple programs with the same start/stop time.
i assume is because of this..
https://thesavvyscreener.com/2019/12/20/bein-adds-over-the-air/

so they launched many different local station.
their site either has the schedule messed up or they are showing differnt programs for different local startions.
there nothing in the epg data to say which program is for which station if this is the case.

Yes, I noticed many shows overlapping. I'm adding it to my configuration becaese of the OTA offering in my area. I used to get the shows from zap2it, but they removed it. I can get the right epg schedule in my hdhomerun though

I tried Ba Area, LA, and NYC. Thanks for the tip. Just checked in for zap2xml for miami and yes, it's there and matching what I have on hdhomerun. I can use zap2it.pl, but would love if we could use webgrab for it too. Do you know if there's a script for that?

Thanks in advance!

you can use tvguide.com posted here

there is a dishnetwork channel list provided but it dont have the bein channel.
you will have to create a list for ota,i checked zipcode 10001(new york) and its there as WNYN channel number 39.1
its has a pbs logo but the epg is bein sports xtra.

there are multiple steps to creating a channel list
pay attention to each one, there are comments on how to use each but basically you do the first, run webgrab, disable it,enable second, run webgrab, disable, ect

the link a bove has a country list provided so u can skip the first channel creation section.

***** pay attention to the provider creation sections, there is one for provider by country and one for provider by zipcode usa only.

look at the start or each channel creation section,example...
** ##### PROVIDER FILE CREATION BY ZIPCODE USA ONLY

in your case you go right to this section and create your provider list using whatever zipcode you want then goto that last section and create a channel list for your selected provider.
