Accessing webgrab++ files from rpi

Hi I have a question.

Is it possible to access the guide.xml on my rpi with raspbian from Libreelec/Kodi/PVR Simple Client.

I have 2 rpi's ,1 is next to my modem ,running raspbian with openvpn and webgrab++ (this one is always on).
The 2nd is next to my tv running libreelec with pvr simple client installed.
Is it possible to acces the guide.xml by putting in a remote link in pvr simple client on my libreelec machine?
And how do I start? The pi's are both password protected.

I want to do this so that I can close the one next to my tv at night.
Also because it's taking a while to update the guide.xml, i want to do it in the night time when i'm sleeping ;),so that when i'm starting kodi the day after i have a fresh list and I don't want updating to affect it when i'm watching a movie. It's a bit to much of everything running at the same time.

just install apache or nginx server.
then u can create a sh file(or whatever you use to run webgrab, can also be added as a crond job) to copy ur guide.xml file to your www folder of your server.
after than anything on your lan(local area network) can access it.can be even accessed remotely with some port forewarding.

you could also look into setting your guide.xml as a shared file.
this would be lan only and I wud assume it would need to be done via cmd line.

I got apache running, and put the guide.xml in the var/www/html folder.
Now when I put in the adress(192.168.178.2/guide.xml) in my browser on my laptop, it shows me the xml-structure,
but when i put the same adress in kodi pvr simple client nothing happens, no epg.
I also tried uploading the guide.xml to dropbox and created a link. When i open the link in my browser its fine, but in pvr simple client it doesn't work. What am i doing wrong?

did u map the channels to your m3u file.
pvr simple client has to know what epg is for what channel.
u cannot just add channel to your webgrab config file and expect them to magically appear.

When i put the file locally, it works. Just doesn't want to grab it externally.
Don't now why.
