I'm encountering an issue with WebGrab++ and would appreciate some help. I'm quite new to WebGrab++ and still finding my way around, so please bear with me!
WebGrab++ seems to be running fine, but it keeps identifying me as an unregistered user.
During my initial setup, I mistakenly entered my web account password instead of the license pass code. About four hours later, I realized my error and corrected it by entering the correct license pass code. Even after forcing an update, I'm still receiving the message that I'm an unregistered user.
Here's some information to help:
- WebGrab++ Version: 5.3
- Operating System: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTC
I have checked the FAQ and searched the forum, but I couldn't find a direct solution to my specific problem.
I've attached the following files:
- WebGrab++.config.xml
- WebGrab++.log.txt
Do I simply need to be patient and wait, or could I have inadvertently locked my license?

It can take 4-6 hrs for the system to get the PayPal transaction.
When you get the piggy icon run:

You also have some errors in config, change:
<mode>!,m,n</mode>
<timespan>6</timespan> (start from 0 so 6 = 7 days Usually sites have 7 or 14 days epg, very few german sites have 14 days)
<retry time-out="80">4</retry> this setting "wait" for connection too low may give you error
remove:
<decryptkey site="site-name">xxx</decryptkey> (not used anymore)

I've already implemented the suggested changes in my configuration file and also ran the license command. I'm happy to report that my status in WebGrab++ has now changed to registered user! So, the problem is solved.
Additionally, I've just made a donation and am now waiting for my donor status to be activated.
ok the author gave me a new version of the app for the donators process, the old was doing wrong calculation, but i am getting errors now. Will inform him.

Did I do anything wrong in my config? Or is there anything else I can do?

I think I know now why the automatic activation didn't work. I entered my username and email address in the PayPal instructions.
Really strange... The first donation didn't arrive, even though I used the link. And the second donation was about 3 hours ago.
