Hi -
Looking to get AFN EPG - tried afn.dodmedia.osd.mil ini, but it times out on all 8 channels. I believe the website has a new address (http://v3.myafn.dodmedia.osd.mil/). Can the ini be updated to the new website?
Thanks

Siteini works fine here, try with timeout 40 or 80, if still doesn't work please post your log
Thanks - figured it out - it was my VPN. Changed to another and is working now. Thanks!
hello,
I've a actually problem when i grab a channel from AFN. I used WG V5.6 on synology DS918+ with .net v9.
I don't have actually a donator_license!
here are my WGLicense.log.txt
should I use the in WebGrab++.config.xml this?:
Where may I find the information for this?
Would i become the information for decryption mode V3 when i have a donator_license?
can anyone help please?

it works being a donator after you become a donator you can grab encrypted
thx mat8861
Now I am a donor, but when I run the script I get an error.
can you please have a look?
Is the site name AFN.DODMEDIA.OSD.MIL correct? The web site actually named by v3.myafn.dodmedia.osd.mil !
by by and best regards
It's not an issue with siteini as it works for me, as you can see from log. It looks like your volume1 disk is somehow blocked, check dns or firewall
see if you can ping from within your path the website
okay .... i will check that. It looks like a permissions problem.
i logged in with user account dsadmin account i the system but i can't get running the script. Then i used "sudo su -" to get root login.
But in the folder are permissions not equal

looks like DNS problem or something like that
root@deepspace:/volume1/homes/dsadmin/.wg++# ping afn.dodmedia.osd.mil
ping: afn.dodmedia.osd.mil: Name or service not known
root@deepspace:/volume1/homes/dsadmin/.wg++# nslookup afn.dodmedia.osd.mil
Server: 192.168.178.1
Address: 192.168.178.1#53
** server can't find afn.dodmedia.osd.mil: NXDOMAIN
root@deepspace:/volume1/homes/dsadmin/.wg++# ping afn.dodmedia.osd.mil
ping: afn.dodmedia.osd.mil: Name or service not known
root@deepspace:/volume1/homes/dsadmin/.wg++#
Yep change dns to 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.222.222 The ip you show 192.168.178.xxx is a class C probably your router or the gateway of the network

Good news, new version 2 works fine with linux, update siteini.pack or download here:
https://github.com/SilentButeo2/webgrabplus-siteinipack/tree/master/site...
What does your WebGrab++.config.xml file look like?
I don't have a correct connect to the site! I don't no why?
I can't ping and resolve the site afn.dodmedia.osd.mil from my linux or windows system but the site myafn.dodmedia.osd.mil is resolved and have return ping.
I don't understand what the problem is!
My log attached. it is fine.
what i noticed, you should include full path to xml, set it in config
XMLTV file - /volume1/homes/dsadmin/.wg++/guide.xml - doesn't exist
Check filename and location!
Cannot run MDB postprocessor
the below error could be a character in config, use notepad++ or gedit, use example config in misc folder and add channels and license, then rename it to WebGrab++.config.xml
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
webgrab doesnt have write permissions to create the file.
run it as root or fix your permissions on the install directory and it will work.
i gave for folder .wg++ and all files and folders in .wg++ root permission and ownership as well. but the same error is displayed.
i could go mad
but the file guide-debug.xml gets created. why the guide.xml don't be created?
its not about the .wg++ folder/files
its about dsadmin
extract the tar.gz as dsadmin and run webgrab as dsadmin.
you can give .wg++ folder/files whatever permissions you want but if it doesnt own the directories before that its futile.
i had do that but then i become an error with the user dsadmin (that's the system admin):
Now i created a new user with admin group permissions and the same error is displayed.
When i run the script with "sudo ./run.net.sh" then i have the error "error downloading page: Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden)."
i'm confused
