From the documentation and your image I set the license line in the config file to look like this:
   <license wg-username="xxxxxxx" registered-email="xxxxxx@gmail.com" password="abcde">f</license>
where abcde is the License pass code in my profile.

When it runs this line is overwritten with 
   <license wg-username="xxxxxxx" registered-email="yyyy@gmail.com" password="abcde">To force a license update; replace this text with the letter f</license

and the license log says:
[        ] WebGrab++ license request and update log
[        ] 2021/04/07 18:21
[        ] 
[  Info  ] License request/update
[  Info  ] Username 'misar'
[  Info  ] License status : 'False'
[  Info  ] License check .. done

Is this what you were expecting?
