SiteIni.Pack Auto-Updates

Hi,

Is there a way to auto-update the SiteIni.Pack that appears on the EPG Channels page? http://webgrabplus.com/epg-channels

I maybe over looking something, but as of now, I have been manually downloading them and overwriting the existing folder. Is there an automated process to do this?

Thanks.

Hi Mat, do you have a link for the windows version? The only install I have is the wgp exe.

Thank you. I can't believe I overlooked that there was an additional exe file in the original install folder. I guess once I was using the working WGP folder with the executable run file, there was no reason for me to look at the install folder.

Does the updater overwrite existing modified siteini files, like schedules direct which needs a user credential in the file?

Yes overwrites the siteini.pack as it writes the last. What you can do is create a folder siteini.user and add your siteini with login in there

Do I need to make any changes to the config to let WGP to look for the ini file in the siteini.user instead of Siteini.pack folder?

No it checks automatically. Obviously both folder need to be in the same path

Ok, thanks. I see the WGP already creates a siteini.user folder so I copied the schedulesdirect.ini file and pasted it into it. The only thing I have to check moving forward are revisions that are made to that ini file.
