Advice and help please! Newbie trying to set up to grab 7 day UK EPG for satellite (mostly freesat) channels

Hi all

I recently bought a VBox satellite DVR reciever. Annoyingly, there is no EPG with it, just what comes over the broadcasts, which I now discover is just the current show and next - kind of makes a DVR useless if you don't have a functioning EPG to set recordings, etc!

Anyway, I've stumbled across this site and it looks ideal, but I'm struggling to get it set up.

Firstly, which source of EPG is best to use? The VBox picks up all the Freesat channels, but not the Freesat EPG, but also has CH4 HD (which I don't believe is on Freesat). I presume Sky's EPG will have all the channels, but they also have hundreds of others (plus their various regional variants)? Ideally it would be good to use one that pulls down a decent amount of show info and images (is poss).

I've tried by using freesat.co.uk's, but when I run WGP+ it just keeps sayig unable to update on all channels, and I can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

I have my WGP+ username, email and password in the license bit, but am I suppsed to put something in the decryptkey site part?

My config.xml is currently like this (with the channels wanted listed below);
<filename>guide.xml</filename>
<mode></mode>
<postprocess grab="y" run="n">rex</postprocess>
<user-agent>Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/79.0.3945.130 Safari/537.36 Edg/79.0.309.71</user-agent>
<!--<decryptkey site="site-name">decrypt_userkey</decryptkey>-->
<!--<license wg-username="Finchy808" registered-email="me@me.co.uk" password="mypassword" />-->
<logging>on</logging>
<retry time-out="5">4</retry>
<timespan>0</timespan>
<update>f</update>

Is any of that wrong (email and password above not the real ones...!)?

Thanks!

Thanks, I've tested with just a few channels and it's pulling data. It only seems to be a few days though, how do I tell it to get 7 (or ideally more) days?
Thanks

Is it possible to pull EPG data from Schedules Direct with WebGrabPlus?

For the UK FTA channels, radiotimes.com works fine

Thanks guys. Not had a chance to get this working yet but having another go. Just trying radiorimes.com and it seems to be picking them up, but there are a handful of channels that aren't on the Radiotimes EPG. I have found them on other EPGs; one is on tv.bt.com.E.channels.xml and the others are on sky.com.EK.channels.xml, but Wbgrabplus says they are encrypted so skips. Is there any way to get the data from those EPG channels?

I'm presuming you can mix and match the EPG sources in your WebGrab++.config.xml, btw?

Thanks
