TV.com Channels.xml Creation issues

All:

I'm new to this program, but not new to coding. As a US user, I'm planning to use the tv.com for EPG build, however I'm having a very difficult time creating the initial channel list. Here are the steps I've accomplished (from the tv.com_instructions.txt)

Steps 1-4 (getting cookies) Complete, no issues.
Step 5: Uncomment the items in the site.ini file (attached)
Step 6: Add dummy channel as prescribed to config file (complete)
Step 7: Run WG++
Step 8: tv.com.channels.xml created (Complete - problem)

The channels file creates one channel:
<channel update="i" site="tv.com" site_id="" xmltv_id="">

I found an old ini file with a different channel build, (in the uploaded ini file) which did grab the channels but stripped numbers, thus creating many duplicates.

So since the current tv.com files were updated one 12.1.16 I thought there might be some issues in the script and I'm just not conversant enough to debug it without a line by line viewer as it parses the information.

Your assistance is appreciated

I think you may have put the "create channel" thing in the wrong xml file.  I put mine in the WebGrab++.config.xml after deleting all the channels I didn't need.  Oh, and don't forget to uncomment (remove a single star - "*" from each line in the bottom section of tv.com.ini as per the instructions.

I have a different problem (though I get all the channels in the list, but I now have

I suppose this is because I entered my zip and provider (free ota).  As a result, I get 200+ channels in my list instead of the 12 or 13 actually available.   Havn't gotten around to actual show titles yet, they haven't shown up.
