Updated tvtoday.de

Hi Guys,

Just would like to share my update to the tvtoday.de EPG files.

Changes:
* added showicon support
* rebuild the whole channels list file with fixed ids

Regards,
Julius

I didn't test ur ini but it most likely works for most channels but if you look at some of the regional channels like wdr,mdr,swr,and many others you will see they have multiple programming for different regions and the shows all start at the same time.
the old ini had some filtering so the user sould select the region they wanted.anyone grabbing this data with your ini for these channels will end up with a messed up schedule.

Thanks for your update - even if I don't use showicons... but the IDs in xml were a mess - thats true.
I fixed the few needed by myself some month ago. But to rebuild the complete list? What a task! Thanks again!

Here my little two cents for this site ini:
Star Rating (only 3 stars available on tvtoday)
Actors from 4 to 10

I dont made a new revision. Maybe we leave that for the officials.

Hey guys!
I guess I need some help of the real professionals. I already tried to find my issue in the pdf documentation but without luck...
I tried to grab the episode-name. Show-stopper (for me) is the there are two of the same "ul class" and I cannot get it working that it grabs the second one...

Please take a look at the picture - I want to grab the episode-name "Fight Club" for instance...

This is what I have currently - But this grab "only" the first [ul class class="additional-infos"] - But I need the second:

subtitle.scrub {single(exclude=first2)|<ul class="additional-infos">|<li class="h8">|</li>}

With this I able to grab the third entry of the first class="additional-infos" which is "Pro Sieben".

But how I can go for the second class="additional-infos" to grab "Fight Club" ?

Many thanks for help!

If needed - This is the direct link I want to grab from:

OK - best help is to help yourself :-)
After a bit of thinking and lots of trying I got it. Maybe not the perfect solution - but works:

subtitle.scrub {single|<p class="h5 quote">||</p>}
subtitle.scrub {multi(include=last)|<ul class="additional-infos">|<li class="h8">|</li>|</ul>}
temp_1.scrub {single (include=last)|<ul class="additional-infos">|<li class="h8">|</li>|</ul>}
subtitle.modify {remove|'temp_1'}

This all grabs the movie-subtile (aka short movie comment of tvtoday) if its movie OR/AND it grabs the series episode.

Had to grab it via multi to grab both: Last entry of first and last class "additional-infos". This gaves me channel and series episode. Then I grab the channel only to temp_1 and remove it again via modify from subtitle.scrub.

Maybe there is an more easy or even logical way but I'm happy it works as expeced.
And even more proud to find it out by myself... :-)

Hey Nanuk!
here the ini I'm using with sone modifications and corrections.
I had the same problem you mentioned some few weeks ago. The title.scrub went incorrect due to site change.
Have fun!

Hey Guys,

The devs from tvtoday.de decided to build in a "data-tracking-datalayer"-code in website source code.
I addition they introduced an additional "data-id=" for the channels. This messed up the index_showsplit and index_site_channel scrubbing. After some tries I think I got it back working. Genereal scrubbing and xxx-channel.xml creation are back working.
Looks like the other stuff is not affected - for luck.
In addition the are several other additions and correction made by me during time (all marked with "fluffi444").
I tried to find a solution for the overlapping regional shows as well. But this is made maybe a bit circuitous. But works. This needs to set up/change for your needs. Currently it is set up for channel NDR Region NI (Niedersachen). Code should be self explaining.

Feel free and comment or correct me if something in not well set up. I made this all with only basic knowledge of all this.

New ini and channels.xml attached.

I think you need to review channel creation
